I am going to be busy, busy, BUSY for the next couple of weeks editing the photos that I have from the Graham/Goins wedding this past weekend. I am so excited to share them with everyone! I had so much fun taking these photos and I am really looking forward to showing them to the new Mr and Mrs once I'm finished editing. Here's my first edited image- enjoy!

Bilbrey Wedding
I have some more photos that I wanted to share from Bev and Lonnie's wedding. I loved working with this couple- they let me do whatever I wanted and didn't mind when I asked to stand on various pieces of furniture to get the shots I was after. They were willing to wander around outside with me and wait for the crazy wind to die down so I could take as many photos as I needed to make sure they would be happy. I was even offered a couple of Jello shots from some very friendly groomsmen. I had so much fun with them and I wish them all the best in their marriage! Also, I think they may have had the cutest cake topper I have ever seen- I mean, come on! Bobble heads?! Adorable.

Mike and Katie are Engaged!
I have been busy busy busy lately! Spring is always a crazy time for my family as well as for my photography business. This is the time of year where brides are planning their weddings, families are thinking about re-doing their photos, and the weather is so beautiful that everyone wants to take advantage of it.
For now I just want to share one of my favorite photos from Michael and Katie's romantic engagement session. The sunflowers are going to be a big part of their wedding so they wanted to include some in their engagement photos. Wrapped around the stems is a sunflower-themed tie that belonged to Katie's father, who passed away a few years ago. I love when couples include small details that make their engagement/wedding photos so personal and beautiful. I am honored that they asked me to do their photos for both events and I can not wait for their August 9th wedding!

To Etsy or Not to Etsy?
I have been toying with the idea of opening an Etsy shop to sell some prints and other items featuring my photography. I need to put a lot of thought into it and I am going to consult some family and friends first to see what they think about this new venture, but I am really liking the idea! I am thinking of starting out with basic prints and notecards, then possibly coming up with some more ideas for pillows, phone cases, etc.
Most of my products will feature my nature and artsy-type photography. I have a few photos (like the one below) that I will be using, but as the weather gets better I will be out taking more pictures and getting more inspiration. Check back to keep updated!

Christmas Time!
Last week I got to go to Greenewood Manor to take some photos of their annual holiday party. I was really excited about this for two reasons 1) I got to take pictures of families who were truly appreciative and really excited about their photos and 2) I got to hang out with my older sister Amy for nearly an entire day because she was the organizer of the party! I had a blast and I was very happy with how most of the photos turned out. The dining room looked beautiful and it seemed like everyone had a great time getting ready for the upcoming holidays. I hope the families had a fun evening and love their pictures as well. Here are a few of my favorites from the evening:
