Mike and Katie are Engaged!

I have been busy busy busy lately! Spring is always a crazy time for my family as well as for my photography business. This is the time of year where brides are planning their weddings, families are thinking about re-doing their photos, and the weather is so beautiful that everyone wants to take advantage of it.

 For now I just want to share one of my favorite photos from Michael and Katie's romantic engagement session. The sunflowers are going to be a big part of their wedding so they wanted to include some in their engagement photos. Wrapped around the stems is a sunflower-themed tie that belonged to Katie's father, who passed away a few years ago. I love when couples include small details that make their engagement/wedding photos so personal and beautiful. I am honored that they asked me to do their photos for both events and I can not wait for their August 9th wedding!

These are a few of my favorite photos from a session I did back in April with Kara and Andrew. We didn't have to travel too far to get some beautiful outdoor photos at Ault Park and Alms Park.  I wish them all the luck in the world with planning their wedding!

Lots of editing

I have been working like CRAZY this week on editing! I love it but sometimes I get to the point of "have I already edited this picture?!" I will post more and more photos as I get them finished, but in the meantime I will share some of my favorites from an engagement session this spring. These are from a session I did in April with Brittany and Sean. They're getting married this September and I hope that they have a very un-stressful next couple on months!
